Ed Jones - Head Chef
After training as a Chef at, English's Seafood Restaurant and Oyster Bar in Brighton, straight from school in 1998, Ed moved to Koh Tao in February 2007, where he has since been working as a chef at various locations around the island.
Ed had developed his menus using feedback he has received from his customers since he opened, Barracuda, in July 2010. With his latest menus, Ed has started to introduce the "Thai Fusion" range of dishes to suit all tastes, these are proving to be extremely popular with the locals and tourists alike.
The Fish and Seafood
At Barracuda we pride ourselves in serving the freshest, local fish and seafood products. All our produce is sourced locally and purchased daily from the local fisherman and suppliers here on Koh Tao.
Special Events / Private Hire
Monthly Sunday Brunch
Barracuda, offers a Buffet -Style Sunday Brunch on the first Sunday of every month, serving a large selection of fish and seafood for just 300 Baht per head. Private Brunches can be arranged any day of the week for a minimum of 10 people. Please check the gallery for pictures and contact us for more info. Reservations are essential for this event.
Cocktail and Canapé Parties
Due to the success of our first party, held in November 2010, Barracuda hosts regular Cocktail and Canapé Parties. These parties can also be arranged for private groups and can be tailor-made to suit all tastes. Contact us for more information.
Barracuda is available for private hire for up to 35 covers. All requests and requirements can be catered for, so please do not hesitate in contacting us for further information.
